The Past

Sharing you our old pics together when we were still young and vulnerable.It was taken during my husband's second visit in the Philippines while my visa was still on process. I looked very dark next to him for we were staying at Hadsan beach resort at that time for the whole 2 weeks he was there..so pasensya na mga mare!

Finally Put My Baby To Sleep

I am giving my baby a hard time earlier.I knew she was too sleepy when we arrived from grocery shopping.I gave her milk,she sucked in her bottle.Played,giggle,make sounds until hours passed she still awake.She was trying hard to sleep but she was too destracted that she couldn't do what she wanted to do.

At 9 in the evening she was begging me to sleep and I just taken her for granted.I called my family in the Philippines and it went for minutes while my baby was so sleepy waiting for mom when she is done talking on the phone.After the long talk,I cradle her and oh finally she rested.She went to sleep which is good for her.

St. Elizabeth Anne Seaton Church

This is where me and my friends are having katok sa ulo to hear a mass at our favorite Catholic Church. We seldom go to church now though because we're all kinda "busy",the usual alibi when it comes to hearing mass every Sunday.Forgive me Lord,I didn't want to offend you.

Slowly Disappearing

I can see the progress of my belly.My hardwork pays off.There's still a little bit of fatness left but I know I'm gonna make it totally go back to its original size in the long run.Meanwhile,I am doing some of abs exercise that I know of doing inside the house.Once,the hot weather will drop down a bit,I will try to run/walk more often.That's a promise.

Teaching Her How To Sip

I am proud of my baby's achievement.She is only 5 months old but she knows how to hold her bottle now.I started teaching her how to do it as early as 3 months.

Now she can hold it still! Yeeyyy good job mommy.2 different things that I slowly teach her again today.How to sip water from the straw.Not a sippy cup,but through a straw.Another thing is that,I am teaching how to sit.

Deden is doing good at it though it takes time for her to be still.Probably in 3 weeks time,she'll be able to sit by herself.

Shopping online

Whoaaa I am so anxious for my new order's arrival this week.I received a confirmation that my items has been shipped.As usual I chose to have it delivered 3-5 business this so most probably they're going to be here on Thursday.

I shopped for cute tops in Body Central last week as birthday presents for myself.I sure do love them because they're really cute eh..Hmmm gonna share photos of my tops when it's here.

home theatre seating

My husband got everything he wants.He has got very good and nice HI-DEF tv. A nice surround sound,what else do I ask for? A complete HOME THEATRE SEATING so we feel like we are out in a real movie theater.Though I am not complaining of the seats we have but I want to make everything perfect.

First Time Left At Home

My husband went to visit his dad down South.We both planned the visit since last week,that we are gonna go all 3 of us,me,he and the baby.The other night when he got home from work,he was gonna drop the dog to his buddy then I changed my mind.I decided to stay home with the baby and he's gonna travel alone.

He said yes to me,so here I am now,left alone,no husband at night for 3 or 4 days,perhaps.Depends when he is gonna finish helping his dad moving things out to a temporary place.It's my first time to be left alone in the house without him.We'll see if I'll be courageous enough sleeping alone with no brave hubby.

She's Not Afraid of The Dark

Truly I have no complain about my child,not only she is a good girl but also she is an easy baby to deal with.At night time,we can just freely turn off the lights without her complaining.Though sometimes we are having a hard time putting her to sleep but it doesn't mean she is afraid of the dark.

We want to raise a courageous child you know? Not afraid to face everything that might come into her life.We,her parents are so proud of the bundle of joy we have together.

Lacking Sleep

I woke up cranky and moody this morning because I hadn't have not enough sleep.My baby moved too much that she disturbed me.I keep pulling her down because she would go all the way up to the head board with no padding and her head might bump against it so I had to monitor her and wake up several times.

As a result,me being drowsy and feeling so tired.Wish I can get a nap later today because I really need it or else I am going to be wild hehe.

Adorable Pretty Deden

I am so fond of my baby because she is just a jolly baby.Everyone who gets near her will have so much fun for she smiles alot when they play with her. Even when she just woke up,she would flash her big smile to me that brightens up my day.

I will never get tired posting my little precious Deden's photos here because she is such a cutie.In these photos ,you will see he weird position trying to lift her bottom up preparing for crawling stage.

So Thoughtful of Him

I was with my friends yesterday to celebrate my birthday with them.I had my husband picked me and my baby up at night.When we were driving home he told me that he got me more crabs from Tom Thumb's since I didn't have enough when we went out for dinner two days ago.

How thoughtful of him for getting me crabs again.I just ate 2 big king crab legs and oh so yummy.Thanks to my husband for being so kind and nice to me as always.Love you much Lalabs.

Hungry

It happened to me several times already.Just when I'm ready to eat my meal and no rice or grits cooked.I have to do it first before I could eat. I don't know why I often forget cooking my food ahead of time so when I get hungry I could just grab some and eat.

Grrr...I am pretty hungry now.And the water that I boil is not yet ready.I tried to change this bad habit but computer seems so tempting that it makes me completely paranoid.

Whose Birthday Is Coming?

Yeppeeyyy I am gonna be having my birthday pretty soon.I will be 25 years old then and all those years that God gave me,I am so thankful for Him.I am getting excited here because I am going to celebrate it with the one I love,my husband.We probably just go out for a dinner.And the day after that I am going to my friend's house to cook something that fills our hungry stomach.

Another wonderful day of my life has passed and yet I feel am not getting old at all.Thanks God for all the blessings You bestowed upon me.

Good Place to Sweat

Once in a while we go to the nearest highschool track inorder to sweat.I am trying hard to lose weight in natural way because I don't like the idea of taking any diet pills or whatsoever ka ek ekan in life. So far so good,I am slowly losing my belly.I can see that it's effective and now I am more motivated to keep running.

I am glad though that my husband wouldn't say no if I ask him if we can go walk/run after he arrives home from work.

My Young Self

This was taken during my first year here in the United States.It was when I was still young and thin and single,I mean no child yet. I missed my thin body because look at me now,I am way too heavy of 108 pounds.

Still skinny compared to Mexicans and Americans but I am not used to it.Struggling to lose the excess weight in me though.I am now trying to hike more often and use my dumbells once in a while.

Music To His Ears

As soon as my husband stepped in to the house from work,me and my baby were sitting in the sofa watching t.v.She recognized her dad and she turned her head towards the door and said "Ha..."...and then again "ha.." as her greetings to her dad. It was her first time to really greet her dad like that.

I was overwhelmed because as early as 5 months old,my baby greet her dad for the first time and it was like music.I believe it sounded so good to my husband's ears too.Smart baby deden.

Another Cute Purse

Pasagdahi ra gud ko post about my purchases online 'coz I want this blog to be a shopping blog also so I can choose a category "shopping" in PPP hehehe.Another purse that I bought weeks ago is the blue cute purse by GUESS.It has G embellished all over and a dragonfly jeweled in its side.It's cute and will be given away to the people who want it in the Philippines.

My Greatest Weakness

It takes too long for my baby to slumber.If only I could force her to sleep,I could have done it earlier.I wanted to be mad at her but I just can't,her way of keeping me calm is her smile.She knows it's my greatest weakness that I can't afford to be mad or upset at her.

Right now,she's screaming with very high pitched voice,not crying though,just doing it to get my attention.She is very sleepy and yet she choose not to close her eyes.

diet pill that works

I have seen on t.v and magazines alot about diet pills.They are everywhere that makes me tired of hearing their promises that you can lose weight right away.Who knows if that is jus their advertisement? I would want a company that would make a diet pill that works to everybody who is stucked in their heavy body.Like me,I want to lose atleast 8 pounds of my extra weight.

Cheap Guess Purse

Hard to resist on stuff that I am so into,purses! My addiction that is very tempting.When I open the ebay website expect me to not miss browsing for cute purses and find myself buying 2 purses in one time which I think is accidental.

I bid and bid without thinking what's gonna happen if I kept bidding on items I like.Just look at the attach photo,I bought it for only 17 bucks,it is used but in excellent condition,a GUESS purse in tan color.I plan of giving this away to my cousin in the Philippines for I know she is going to like it.

The Best Teacher

I cannot blame smart people to have such sharp intellect for they find reading books fun and entertaining to them.They say books are the best teacher and I so agree with that.Having said this,my baby has only 2 books for now and I seldom read her a book because you know I am lazy but I promise when she is able to speak I would love spending time reading books with her so she will become a smart kid.

Toys for My Little One

My baby is growing so fast and that is a fact.Everyday she learns something new.She is the kind of baby that has a lot of potential to be a smart baby when she grow up.For that I would like to do the best I can as her mother and give her an educational toys to help in her development.However,a doll and stuff toys can be good to her too but I would love to give her more something that has numbers and alphabet letters on it oh not forgetting colors and shapes as well.

I disagree with look-alike meter.Is is too obvious that my baby look like more of her father from her cheeks alone,just look at that.Even if at first glance you can tell that the only thing my baby got from me is her black lashes and her little palalat.

My Little Fashionista

We got the wrong pair of sunglasses for our baby,instead of getting the butterfly and feminine frame,the one with blue handle is what we bought.Good thing though that they look good on my Jadyn even if the sunglasses are for boys.I bought another one for her which is Dora and pink in color but they're still big for her.

Anyways,whenever she wears them,she always received nice compliments of her sunglasses that she looks cool in them. Attached is a picture of her with sunglasses and the pacifier she likes.

Always Makes Me Happy

What a nice life to live having this small wonderful family of mine.We're not rich but we have enough resources to sustain our needs and buy our wants.What more can a simple filipina ask if she has everything she dreams in life? A wonderful and devoted husband,a healthy baby and a naughty dog? Man,they make me complete.

My lalabs got home from work tonight and he played with our baby Jadyn a bit and I heard him saying that our baby is always making her mom happy.That is indeed very true.She brings so much joy and happiness in this home.Ah I love our baby so much.

So that is all for tonight friends.I am tired for I had a big laugh with online friends earlier and they really pull my intestine out from my stomach.

Moment With My Anak

Spending time with my precious little angel is essential to create a strong bond together as mother and child.I want her to grow up having very memorable time with her mom and dad so that someday when we are old,she will not hesitate to help us for she knows she was well-taken care of when she needed us the most.

Writing this entry tonight makes me feel so blessed for having our little child in this house.She is just one amazing baby that always brings smile on our faces no matter how tired I am,she is always there,ready to cheer me up.Love you so much nak nak ko!
