Before Baby Pic

It's always nice looking at old fading photographs of yourself. I looked at my photo albums on friendster today and found this "before baby" shot of me last 2006. That photo above was taken when I was only months here in America. As you can see I looked so skinny back then.

My husband is longing for my old body,skinny or boney but I don't wanna go back to my old self again as it was TMTH(too much to handle) too many criticisms and most of all, almost all of my clothes were like TOO BIG for me. From size XS to Medium now, see the huge difference?

My First English Pocket Book

(the book that my baby is holding in the attached photo is the book I'm talking about...)

We will see if I'll be able to read the whole book titled "I'm In No Mood For Love" written by Rachel Gibson. I've only read its first chapter and so far so good. This book is my first english pocket book as I am not fond of reading books, especially thick english books.

I do have a couple of pocket books though but they are all in Tagalog. You know, Tagalog novels are a lot thinner than english ones. When I bought this book, I made sure that I would love reading it, not just the story itself should be beautiful but the cover also and the kind of material and font that the publisher is used.

Whole Day Of Work, No Money

What kind of future am I going to have if I do this for the rest of my life? Sitting on the computer all long day waiting for the Heaven's to shower me with opps. Today, I've waited for one whole day for PPP to release some opps but there's none. Past 11 Tx time there was one came out but it doesn't pay the electricity wasted today.

I hope they will set a schedule as to when they are able to shower their bloggers with opps so we won't end up wasting our time waiting for nothing. I am not upset ok, I'm just trying to voice out what is in my mind right now.

I Got My Itinerary

So finally I got a fix schedule of my travel to the Philippines in January. I'm not telling the exact date though as to when we're gonna fly because I want to surprise my friends who are waiting for me over there. I am so excited now, really! Guess, I may have to call my family about the date so they will know it and that they can pick me up in the airport and see the baby.

We got this very flexible schedule from our filipino travel agent. I should say she is the best in finding ways to travel with less stopver. Normally, from DFW to Cebu would make us 3 stopover. One in LAX-CA, then from there to HK or Korea, KR to Manila then to Cebu. But this trip of ours, since only me and the baby are gonna travel first, she made it to 2 stopover only. And the price of the tickets? It's the usual price you get from online booking or less, $1400 plus taxes inclusive and the baby's fare will be 10% of that.

Our trip will be from DFW directly to Incheon International Airport in Korea and from there to Cebu. Though there is a 6-hour waiting at that airport but it doesn't bother me because I have a baby and she will probably entertain her own mother during the long period of waiting. Yeyyy! Philippines here I come!

She's Engaged

Finally, my dear cousin in the Philippines have closed her "Searching" chapter of her book. Now, she begins with another chapter in her life for she is engaged already to the man whom she thinks is her destiny. Congratulations Josh and Mariz on your engagement

Before And After Baby

Hiko,Texas is a small town about 2 hours away from where we live. We discovered this little family restaurant through a family friend who is a truck driver and told us that Koffe Kup restaurant is best to stop by for dining and is known for their 12 different flavors of homemade pie.

We've been there twice already. First time was when I was only 4 months preggy of my daughter Baden. Second just recently when we visit my father-in-law in San Antonio.

I'm bored to death right here. Can't think of something else to do so I thought of peeking at my favorite online shop again and see what they have for me. Then I found this new arrival houndstooth trench coat. Very beautiful coat that can't take my eyes off it. So sleek and chic black and white print. A two-dollar wallet

I almost forgot that weeks ago I was a lucky shopper at DSW because I bought a pink wallet from Guess that matches my pink purse. Normally it was $21 but since me and my husband are loyal shoppers of DSW, they sent us 2 coupons- 1o dollar each as a reward.

I have seen that wallet long before and I didn't buy it right away since I was kind of tight at that time. There were two sizes and the one that is bigger cost 30 bucks and I was thinking of buying the bigger one next time I go to DSW.

Fortunately, we received the coupons and so I asked my husband to bring me to the store so I can buy the wallet that I wanted. But, to my dismay there was only one left, the medium size. No choice but to get it anways. Happy nalang ko for I only paid my wallet for 2.10 bucks, sales tax nalang, almost free na gani hehehe!

Teaser But I love Her

I love my baby the way she is right now. I hope she won't change until she reaches 18. She is such a good baby that I can't ask for more. She rarely cries, she smiles most of the time and most of all, she is such one little darling in this home. I caught her in action teasing me. Though she can't talk yet, I know she teased me in the picture above. She is sooooooo cute, isn't she?

Texas Fall Blooms

Photos below are just one of the many species of flowers planted in Dallas Arboretum. They are the Texas Fall blooms that entice tons of visitors each day. I have never been to a place like this so for me, it's like a paradise over there perfect for the whole family to see.

I told my husband to visit the Arboretum more often as they keep changing the plants each season. Next year, if I am lucky I will be able to see tulips in Spring!

Sneeking a photo of this very fat couple shown in the picture. They are unbelievably fat and yet they still indulge into something sweeter and cold, ice cream. I wonder if these people aware of their size and or do they ever know that there are diet pills that help? If I were on their shoe, I will not wait to get that big before I do any action in helping myself from getting obese.

Another Fruitful Year Of Our Marriage

I have always considered myself as lucky. Finding my Sandy alone is such a great gift from Heaven to me. He is the man who made all my dreams come true. I couldn't be any happier than in his arms. I am honored to have married this gorgeous man, he showed me love, he gives me happiness no other man can do and most of all he gave me a beautiful child whom I can be so proud of.

My husband makes my future so secure. Ah I see myself growing old with him, not afraid of the tribulations coming ahead in our life for he is brave enough to face life challenges. I am proud to tell the world that I'M HIS WIFE!

Today has marked our 4th wedding anniversary that took place in Bellavista hotel, Lapu- Lapu City of '04. The big event that happened 4 years ago still fresh in my mind that I felt it was just like yesterday. To you my husband I LOVE YOU TODAY, TOMORROW AND FOR ALWAYS. Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch

I've only seen pumpkins for sale in stores around here. I've never seen tons of different sizes of pumpkins in my life until we visited the Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch. Hundreds of pumpkins laid on the ground from the biggest size to the smallest like the palm of my baby. It's a great place to visit for the kids because there are a lot of things to do in Flower Mound. Deden had her first train ride and I guess for me too?

It was a pretty good day when we went there that I'm so thankful for the babies were with us (Cassy and Deden), Annie, Madel of course me and Tony and Kevin. We had a blast really. After the pumpkin visit, we headed to a Hawaiian place and had lunch then to the mall.. as usual we had big laughs altogether...

In a little pumpkin house, you are allowed to get any of the pumpkins as long as you pay for it afterwards and bring home...

It's Our 4th Wedding Anniversary Tomorrow

Yeppeeeyyy! It's going to be our 4th wedding anniversary tomorrow and I'm excited because we plan of going somewhere we can enjoy together as a family. Not as a couple but as a family for we have a baby already.

If there is no change on the plan, we are gonna go visit the Dallas Arboretum for they currently have a pumpkin festival and the place is so nice that I've been itching to see it myself. After that, a simple dinner will be done and I think that is all it for a celebration!

Hayy thanks God for another fruitful year of our marriage. 4 years may not be that long to others but for me it's already a big achievement for the past years we never had major problems nor big arguments! Going strong as ever and I hope we'll still have more happy years to come!

Hunting For Fall Dress

There is only one place I dare buy my dress or tops online, it's no other than Body Central because they only have reasonable prices for really trendy tops or dresses. I've bought few tops from them already and a dress and I like the material of their product because they feel good on the skin as well as they are made with fine fabrics.

Now, as we are moving to fall season, I am in hunt for a fall dress. Body Central has always got something to entice their customers like me. The one in the picture really got my eyes because it's stylishly awesome. I love plain colors and simple yet neat looking clothing. In my opinion the attached pic is perfect and I think I'm going to buy myself this one for anniversary present for me.

Feeling Sleepy

I should rest myself to bed since I woke up kinda early this morning. I was still very sleepy but forced my self to get up to feed the baby with her breakfast. She woke up ahead of me and so is her dad but dad can't feed the baby so I must do it myself.

Now I find myself terribly sleepy as if my eyelids are gonna cover my eyeballs pretty soon. I am not done with my dropping yet and still have 2 other blogs to do. I think it will take me whole day to do it all since I am not into doing anything today. Just very very very tired here.

I did not expect I can make quite a money today on other paid blogging site. I have been a member of SPR for so long and I seldom have opps to do from their site. Probably because the advertisers don't like me or I'm not one of their favorites.

It takes me days before I can log in there because I always thought that there is nothing for me to do in SPR site so I don't check it regularly. But this afternoon, something in my mind, a little voice told me to open the said website not knowing I have 2 great jobs waiting for my approval. I did not think twice of grabbing the opportunities that were meant for me. Mind you, they were high paying opps, one is 52 and other one is 65!

Home Sweet Home

We are home now at last. 4.5 hours driving at night isn't easy at all. I wanted to sleep during those hours we were on the road but I couldn't because I want to see the other cars passing over us. If in case there's something will happen to us or any cicrumstance we meet while on travel I'm aware of it rather than dying not knowing what caused it.. hahaha weird thinking huh?

Ok, gotta rest now for I am very very tired and sleepy. Feels like the world is spinning round and round. Gotta do heavy dropping tomorrow too for my RR went up to HEAVEN again!

Doing All The Work

...gezzzzzzzzz looks like I'm the one doing all the work in order for us to get out of here. Packing our mess, taking care of the baby, preparing myself, putting all the food in our bag etc. etc. etc grrrrrrrrrr.......

Makes me paranoid knowing that I run here and there trying to beat the time. You wanna know what my husband is doing? Sitting on the chair, looking so relaxed jotting down important numbers from his father's file. If I don't ask him to look after the baby, he wouldn't do it. If only I'm a super woman so I can finish all the tasks in one time then its fine with me.

Rushing In The Morning

We planned of going home tomorrow but my husband's plan has changed so today we are heading back home to Fort Worth hopefully before sunset. We are still in the guest room while doing this entry and for that I need to hurry for check out time is at 11 a.m and baby still needs to shower.

I hate rushing in the morning because it is when my body feels tired to do anything thus, I need to do it anyway or else we are gonna be overcharged if won't get out of here on time. Blisters in My Feet

Lalabs, baby and I had a long walk. We just got home from visiting the River Walk here in San Antonio. It is nice out there, walking along the river seeing couple other hikers, ducks in group floating in the water and as we go farther going to the center of the city, restaurants are everywhere. Lots of people dining along the river and there are boats with loads of passengers for a short cruise in the river.

I had no idea that it is such a long walk to do. I didn't bring my sneakers instead the long high sandals. I thought they were so comfortable and I would be fine using them but no no, they still wore me out especially my feet. I got 4 blisters in total in my feet because I was not wearing the appropriate footwear. Big blisters is what I am talking here. Imagine how painful my feet now.

Easy Child

If you are to babysit my baby, you will find her to be lovable and so easy to deal with. As long as you will address her needs, milk, clean dry diaper etc and you are set. Give her the favorite toy she has, doggie toy and she would stay in one place for minutes playing without bothering you.

We are left here in the guest room of AFV because my husband has errands to do with his father. I am looking after the baby as usual at the same time doing my thing, computer while Deden is busy playing the camera. She is grinding it against her teeth and feeling the sound of it. Weewww my baby rocks!

Almost 9 Months Old

Few more days and little princess turns 9 months old. She had done so much for the past 8 months of her existence on Earth. It is just so amazing to witness her growing each passing day. I am so glad I take a hands-on to my baby because I get to jot down each new development she achieved.

My husband just discovered tonight when he put Jadyn on the floor, she stood by herself for seconds with out him holding the baby. It's another milestone for her again. She surprised her dad as well as grand dad for doing so.

Our 4th Wedding Anniversary is Drawing Near

We already have a plan on our special day. As a family we celebrate it by going to Dallas Arboretum because they are currently having a Pumpkin Festival over there. I've been itching to go visit that place but due to other unavoidable circumstances we haven't gotten any chance of seeing it in ourselves.

I hope on the 16th, which is our wedding date will come to happen. If you are to visit the website of the said place above, you will be amazed of the beautiful landscape and different species of flowers as well as the pumpkins itself. I am kind of excited for that. Then after the Arboretum, we are gonna go dine in at a restaurant to end the celebration. That is all it. Gigantic and precious day yet simple celebration is all I want!

Tired From the Long Trip

We just got here at AFV Lackland in San Antonio to visit my father-in-law moments ago and oh so feeling dizzy and tired. It was a long drive for us since we took the country road instead of using the speedy highway. It's nice for a change of view. Woody roads, quiet and no traffic, that is what I like.

We were still on the road at 7 pm and so dark already! My baby really itching to get out of the outgrown carseat of hers for she is tired for sure but I can't help her instead, entertained her,make a lot of crazy sounds but she really was bored. She cried and cried for couple of minutes and wouldn't stop even if I gave her milk.

I ignored her for I lost for words to say and then she stopped. Again, she was able to gain her composure and started talking baby words and sounded happy! Thanks goodness, I really thought she was so serious of crying for she never cried while in a trip.

So that is all for tonight my bloggy. I need to rest now because I'm so dead tired here.

My name appeared to be on the list for PPP's top earner today. I'm currently on the 10th place. What the heck is wrong with their system? I have not even gotten a single opp from them today and how come I'm on their list? What? Are they kidding me? It seems like it's hard to believe the real people's income esp. the ones on their monthly top 10 earner because the number of digits shown is kinda high. Probably there is a bug that messing up their system, who knows?

Strikes Again

...I've been feeling so low for the past days. As if I am always tired, moody and most of all, it feels like my brain wants to stop thinking. If there is only one thing I could do right now, I would want to come home once again and enjoy all the pleasure my own country,Pinas, has to offer. Warm water of the sea, fresh yummy seafoods, seeing or laughing with old familiar faces once again, being with my family especially my lil bro Adong and lil sis Alexia are the things I so missed right now. Just simple life pleasures is all I want and they seem so impossible to do now.

Being here for more than two years, I thought I'd already overcome my homesickness. I thought am used to living quietly in this old house in a very solemn neighborhood, but I was wrong. After all, I'm just human. I have my emotions, I have my down moments and own sentiments and most of all I have a heart that longs for my filipino family's care.

I can't wait for January to come. I will go home no matter what! I'm gonna be free again,free like a bird flying from one tree to another. I promise that is what I'm gonna do when I don't need a driver to take me to my friend's house. Promise! Promise!
