VALKYRIE by Tom Cruise

Wow here's a new movie starred by Tom Cruise, the favorite action hero of all time. I am not a big fan of his but I like his movies. This new movie will be another fun and action movie to look forward to seeing because it's about history and full of action. I am pretty sure my husband gonna love this. Read below for a little information of VALKYRIE. It will be shown in theaters this December. Watch out for that guys!

Valkyrie is a 2008 historical thriller film directed by Bryan Singer and starring Tom Cruise. The film is based on the 20 July plot of 1944 of German army officers to assassinate Adolf Hitler and marks the re-teaming of Singer and producer/screenwriter Christopher McQuarrie. Cruise will portray the leader of the plot, Colonel Claus von Stauffenberg.
Cruise's casting caused controversy among German politicians and members of Stauffenberg's family due to the actor's practice of Scientology, though German newspapers and filmmakers gave support to the film to spread global awareness of von Stauffenberg's attempted plot. The filmmakers of Valkyrie initially had difficulty setting up filming locations in Germany, but they were later given leeway to film in locations pertaining to the film's story, such as Berlin's historic Bendlerblock.
The release date for Valkyrie has changed numerous times, including a brief move to February 14, 2009. When the studio reported a positive test screening, the film's release was moved up to December 26, 2008.

The Longest Nap

My baby has the longest nap today since she became mobile. She slept at 4 pm and she just woke up now and the current Tx time is 6:21 pm. She must have been very tired from last night's trouble. She had difficulty sleeping because she caught some colds, stuffy nose that bothered her too much.

I am glad though that she is now well-rested so she feels better. I was able to take a nap myself too as I don't have enough sleep since last night. I hope tonight, she can get 8 hours of sleep that she deserve so we both can be good. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYBODY!

Beautiful Girl In The Mirror

Excuse the mess in the picture, the car was in the garage because hubby was fixing something in it. I did not intend to shoot that. The baby in the mirror looks pretty, isn't she? My Deden loves looking herself in the mirror in the playpen.

I tried putting her inside the car one day and it seemed like she's not interested the steering wheel for her attention is in the mirror. I don't know what's in it that it got her. She may be just love to look at her face.

The Diaper Play

I am glad my baby can now play with me when I initiate the game. I call this game THE DIAPER PLAY, instead of using a blanket, I use diaper because it's easier for her to pull off and it smells good too.

I put the diaper on to her head and she take it off and we both burst out to laugh. I think she likes the game because she cooperates with me that shows the playful side of my baby. I'd like to do this often so I can create a nice bonding to my baby.

This Is It...

So we're now into cold temperature. The lowest temp. we got so far is 34 degrees Fahrenheit and I feel that it's too cold already. This is it. The kind of weather I have been longing to experience for the past months have been too warm and dry.

How I wish I can see some snow sooner but I know it's too impossible to get here in Texas. January and Feb. are the coolest months and within that time frame, an inches or two of snow is expected. I am so anxious for the snowflakes to appear and start falling. I don't want to have thick snow either for it's gonna kill my delicate body.

Cheap Thing!

I will not be bothered if people call me cheap or my stuff are cheap because it is a fact. Indeed, I'm buying cheap stuff and head up high wearing them because it doesn't mean they're poor quality. They are cheap because I don't buy things that aren't discounted. What for? Why would I buy them in full price if I can wait for the stores to reduce their products' price? There is a big difference there being cheap and economical.

Not to be sound conceited here but most of my stuff if not all are in brand names but THEY'RE CHEAP! Every time I go shopping for my ka ek-ekan(purses, shoes etc) you know girly thing, I head directly towards the clearance section of the store, find my size, look at the style and the price. Hell no, I wouldn't pick up things that I can't get a deal from it.

Just like a pair of dress sandals in the photos. I bought them from DSW yesterday with a 40% discount tag on it. Originally it was 49.94 bucks and I got them for only $18.10 sale tax inclusive. I got them that low because aside from they're in the clearance section I also had membership coupons with me (15% off and the other one is 10 bucks) that I used upon checkout.

.... they're not fancy sandals but I like them, simple yet masul-ob sa Colon.

Wild Animals Trace

I can't say for certain from what animal those footprints are but they surely look pretty. I took this photo when we went down south at a friend's ranch and spent our weekend over there. There were different shapes and sizes of animal traces by the pond on that day. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take photographs of other footprints as my camera was almost dead.

Perhaps this shot is good for now. I promise I will take several snaps of them when we get to travel to the ranch next time.

Too Many Temptations

Gosh! I received catalogs from my favorite shopping store today. One is from Dooney and Bourke and the other from Victoria's Secret catalog. I looked at them seriously and if I won't stop staring at them, I might kill myself for they are too tempting. Sales here and there, beautiful purses, nice shimmering beauty kits etc. etc also nice sweaters and jackets... geezzzzzzzzzz they're too much.. they torture me as if I'm a sinner.

Might as well throw them all away before I can do something bad. Naks, shopping is so hard to resist but with my blogging been bumpy lately, I dare not spend a penny on "tempting" ka ik-ikan I don't really need. BIG SIGH for it's very difficult in my part. Wished I did not open the catalogs eh!

Do We Have A Baby?

That is the question I find myself asking when I have nothing to do or when I'm busy. Curious why? Well, apparently we do have one and you all know that. What I'm saying here is that our baby is just so quiet that sometimes when I am focused in my computer, I tend to forget that I have a baby beside me (in her playpen) because she just do her own thing, entertain herself alone.

On the other hand, when I'm busy for example cleaning in the kitchen and I leave her in the computer room or in the crib, she will stay well-behaved and wait for me until I'm all done with my work. I do my reflection oftentimes and ask myself why am I so blessed for having such a very good and amazing baby? I've never known such a baby like mine because WA JUD SIYAY KURAT!

in hunt for new toys

I'm on Buy.com website right now and looking at their toy's section hoping I can find great deals for my baby. I'd love to buy her educational or learning toys so she can develop her skills while she is still young.

I always love it there because I can get toys in discounted prices plus they offer free shipping for a box of toys. That is such a great deal indeed. Ok, I have to finish this post now so I can continue looking for that specific toy I need to buy for my baby.

Baby Arrested Due To Pooping Too Much!

Have you heard the headline of the news today? There is a 10-month old baby got arrested today due to poopy diaper because she was very drunk and went outside to watch the high water leakage at the neighborhood where she lives.

Photos attached captured while she was being interrogated by her daddy(the police officer) and he's the one who will handle her case and put the baby in prison(in the crib) for good. Her mommy wanted to stay longer but she couldn't because the baby's nappy was full and the officer ordered the mom to change it so he can take the baby with him in his patrol car!

Loving the Cart

She is really getting old now. She doesn't like to be in her stroller anymore when we go shop for food probably because in the cart, she can get a better view of the whole market and be able to look at people of different race and sizes.

I snap a photo of my baby kalbonita (bald) while she was having fun looking around in the cart full of stuff. Each time we go out of the house, I always make sure I have the camera handy so whenever I want to take photos of my family I can just do it in seconds.

Our Weekend Adventure

So how's your weekend everyone? Gotta enjoy it for it's gonna be the start of working day tomorrow. For us here, we just stayed at home doing chores. But yesterday we did have fun at a a friend's ranch. Mike, my husband's best buddy invited us to go down to where his daughter's fiance's ranch is.

The men enjoyed shooting at an open firing range they have while the girls that include Annette(Mike's daughter), Zoe the pretty kid, my baby and myself had fun riding the golf cart and had a tour around the property. It was a vast land big enough for me to practice driving the golf cart. I liked it there and would want to go back there when we have a chance.

I asked my husband to visit the ranch again and he said yes to me quickly because he himself loved it there, it's quiet, we can see some wild animals, can get some fresh air and what he likes so much is he can enjoy shooting with Mike. At the end of the day we grilled big meats of steaks and had dinner together before heading back to the city. All in all our adventure was a BLAST!

It's Just A Period, Why Be So Happy?

...and why not if I am not ready to be pregnant again? It's still too early to have another baby you know? I was so worried that I might be pregnant when I realized that my period did not come last week of October and first week of November as what I expected, I never had a delayed period.

I really messed up with my pill and thought it was the cause of my delayed period. We went to visit my father in-law in San Antonio last month, we stayed there for three nights and of all the things that's very essential to have is my pill and I've forgotten bringing it with me.

I took 2 pills 2 nights in a row when we arrived home to make up with the nights I skipped then "heavenly crime" happened afterwards. I really thought I screwed up. Then just last night, there was a light staining in my underwear and I could jump for joy because I AM SAFE! THANK GOD!

I might want another baby but not now. Not until 2 years since my Deden will be old by then and understands what's going on in the world.

My Most Hated Chore

I don't mind doing my household chores here as long as it's alternate and different everyday. I do wash clothes once a week, dusting twice a week etc.etc. That is perfectly fine with me. I have no problem about that. However, there is this chore that I really hate and yet I persist on doing it, that is washing the dishes over and over again, everyday of my life. Grrrrrrrrrr puol kaayo.

I only make few dirty dishes and so I waited for the day to end before I do it. I wash them with my hands since there are only few of them but it gets tiring when you do the same thing all over again. How about you? Aren't you complaining of a certain thing that you don't like to do?

I bought a simple plain color dress that is on sale from Victoria's Secret online. Even though I haven't made enough money this week but I just couldn't resist the great deal I can get from this beautiful dress. It's a dress and it only cost me $19 and the original price was $49.

Silly Movie

Whoever made this movie, there is only one thing I can say about his creation, it's dumb and silly movie. I hate it when we wrongly chose a movie that is good for 5 years old kids. This movie is a good example of a silly movie. You get to watch it so you will know what I'm talking about here.

Tomorrow Is My Husband's Birthday

I almost forgot that it's gonna be my husband's birthday tomorrow. I don't know what to do and am not planning of doing anything for him either. He already told me once that he doesn't want anything special on his day probably because he tries to just forget it. He is working tomorrow and comes home at night, he's gonna be tired and not wishing to go anywhere else for fun.

Perhaps we can just go out for dinner this weekend in Saturday to be exact. Haaay thanks God, he's given another blissful year of his life here to experience being a good dad once again and always be a faithful and devoted husband to his only stubborn wife, Me!

The Transporter 3

Another movie starred by my favorite action hero is coming out November the 26th. I am sure many movie hungry are waiting to watch this movie for you know him he's very good in all his movies. I am the biggest fan of Jason Statham ever and I so look forward to watching his movie with my husband.

One Fine Day In Texas

I so love the Texas temperature during Spring and Fall. It's mild, cool and very good on the skin. Not much snow too during Winter. Days in Fall is just awesome that you want to be in the outdoor all the time.

I took a picture of my baby and husband one time when we go for grocery shopping because the weather was just irresistibly good. If there is a place you want to spend your Fall then there's no other than Texas. If you are from colder states, you will appreciate at how lucky we are to be living here.

7 Random Facts About Me

I have been doing tags stating facts about me and here I am again doing another tag of myself from Recel. I will not stop making an entry like this because as my readers becoming big in number, it's also nice if atleast there are 10 of them to get an idea of how and what I am. Read on.

1. When I was 5 or 6 years old I was constipated. (Gross?)
2. Can't live without my computer/internet.
3. BIG GUESS fanatic.
4. Struggling to lose weight. Amazing because before I had a baby I was like a twig and now that I became big, I'm wishing to being a twig once again hehe.
5. Addicted to friendster. Window programs that I open at the same time are YM, PPP and Friendster.
6. I don't go to church often. Last time I went to hear mass was last Mother's Day if I'm not mistaken but I do say my lil prayer before I sleep at night.
7. I doubt for religious people if they're really practicing what they're preaching.

Just Woke Up

Is it obvious that she just woke up from a nap? She is such a good baby that even after waking up she still manage to smile (not showing in this photo though). That is just the way she is, always happy and looking joyful. I truly have no problem raising my baby because she is such an easy baby a mother can ever have. Wab Yow Muts my Baby Deden!

Nice To Be With Friends Again

One of the many things I look forward to here in this lonely world is being with friends again. With them we can be like we're home. Filipino foods, big laugh and most of all never ending talks, all are talking at the same time are what we usually do being together. The American husbands just have no idea why we do that, it's just a filipina thing you know? Even we, cannot explain it haha..

Need To Do Some Walking Again

Ok, it's Fall now and it's a perfect time to go walk around the neighborhood. Beautiful view is seen once again because the leaves of the trees are now turning red or yellow. As you all you know, Fall season here in Texas is pretty fair that you don't wanna get inside the house because it's a lot hotter compare than the outside temperature.

With all these being said, I need to get my butty up from the computer and do some walking during the day when it's sunny and cooler. Yeah, I wish I can walk everyday. The only thing that's holding me back is PPP. What if it's time for chasing for opps and I'm not in my desk? So afraid.. so so afraid that I get 0 if I try to go outside. I know it sounds silly but money is what I need nowadays!

On Top Of The Chair

'twas our first time to see the baby climb up the chair in the living room. Before that happened, my husband and the baby were in the living room but he forgot something and went to the kitchen leaving the baby alone. Deden cried, we had no idea for she don't cry for no reason, she would just follow us wherever we go.

Then moments later she got quiet and sounded happy. My husband went back to the living room only to find out that our baby was already on his chair! We were both stunned because how did she get there? I never saw her being brave climbing up on to something because all I know is that she just crawl and stand up holding on to something.

The baby giggled a lot as if it was her biggest achievement for the night. Wow! Amazing she really is developing good!

Woke Up Moody

I woke up not in the mood for anything. I wanted to stay in bed longer but I couldn't. It was kinda late and my baby woke up ahead of me. Had to get up and feed her. I hurriedly went to the kitchen and prepared her food. At first she ate her cereal and when it's time for me to give her the yogurt she keep turning her head left to right saying no no!

As I felt soreness in my left hip, I get irritated easily for people who will refuse to eat. I give Deden her juice she still don't take it no matter how I forced her to take it. Her daddy protested saying he doesn't understand me. He doesn't understand me that I'm tired and my way of releasing it is to growl like a mad dog at my baby who don't want to obey me.

A Boy Killed, trick or treating 2 injured

....is what the headline of the online news page of my husband's prefered site. That is scary and strange to hear if somebody is knocking on your door for trick or treating as Halloween's usual celebration in America and got killed. How could that be?

A 12 year-old boy shot from the inside of the house and 2 other people injured shot by the same person. No names mentioned as well as the identity of the shooter though. Probably the shooter is black and the boy is white. If the shooter is white and the victim is black then it will be spread all over the newspaper, how strange!

There is no further details though as to why the incident happened.
