Listen And Watch

The cutest sound I've ever heard in my life is of my baby's babbles. She does it from time to time and I just can't get enough of her babbles. Watch and listen to the video of my baby embedded here.

Later in that footage shows how she hurts herself that made her cry. Just a quick share of my baby's milestone at 11 months. Hope you enjoy watching everyone and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

A Treat For Myself

I am feeding my addiction again. It's just that purses are my weakness aside from shoes of course. We dropped by at Tanger outlet stores in San Marcos before coming home last Saturday and never expected that I could find this unique yet simple handbag of Kathy Van Zeeland.

For me it's unique because it doesn't look big on the outside but it has ample roomy space inside that I can just throw in everything I want to put in my purse including baby stuff like wipes, diapers and etc.

It's nothing fancy and not expensive either of $99 original price marked down to 37 dollars. What a great deal! I knew I love this purse the moment I laid my eyes on it and so I grabbed it right away and never let it go. It is probably the last purchase of this year. I will not promise though that there will be no more purses in the future for I AM SO FREAKIN' INTO PURSES VERY MUCH!

She Likes Fruits

No wonder she is healthy. She can eat almost anything from rice, fruits, cereal, veggies and even my own exotic foods. Although I seldom give her foods that she herself can eat in her hands because I don't want her to be messy. I prefer to feed her by spoon.

Above is a photo of my little girl caught in the act seriously eating one of her fave fruits, strawberry. Someday when we are in a completely strange land like the Philippines where food is different, she'll be able to live for as long as we stay because as I've said she can eat anything and everything...

The Saddest Time

This time of year isn't the best for my husband. I asked him one time why that is and he replied me back saying "well, I only lost two children!". He probably missed his two kids from his previous marriage which I perfectly understand. After that short conversation I did not bother asking some more questions with regards his kids for I know it only makes him miss them more.

If I were in his shoe I don't know if I survive after all these years not seeing my kids nor hear anything from them. It's been like hmmm probably 10 years since he'd last seen his kids and that is awful. Someday, somehow they'll meet again when the right time comes. For now, he just have to enjoy his new kid, our Deden and cherish every moment spent with her as she will not remain small and baby.

Finally Fell Asleep

Finally my baby fell asleep right in my arms. I put her in her crib earlier with milk but she consumed a bottle of it already and yet she was still awake. She got up and called me. The only indication that she doesn't wanna sleep yet is to make sounds that makes me turn my attention to her.

So I took her out, brought her here in the computer and resume my dropping of ECs. I turned on the soothing baby music in my library hoping it could hypnotized her and put her to sleep. After tossing and turning and resisting, Deden was able to sleep. Now I am free to concentrate on my work without her. I hope she'll sleep longer so I can finish all my tasks.

outdoor lighting

I like it when dusk is here especially in this neighborhood where we live in because I can get to see different sparkling outdoor lighting that the neighbors put up outside their homes. They are of different colors and the one that is just right across the house, they have green in color which I think is unique for I have never seen such outdoor lighting before.

My Little Santasita!

These are snaps of my baby while waiting in line to see Santa last Saturday. It was a horrible day for all three of us to go picture taking in the mall because of the huge crowd. We are just lucky for our baby didn't fuss at all. She just looking around, watching other kids playing and waited for her turn to sit on Santa's lap.

I really have no complain with our baby. Wherever we are, whatever we do she just as well-behaved as she can be. Anyone will be honored to have her because she is just a very good baby as in labi na matulog!

.. in her jogger patiently waiting although she looked impatient already.

You gotta check them out guys and see if you can find what you need in their site. Reid global distributor of industrial product since 1948.

She's Trying

I am optimistic that before we fly to the Philippines in three weeks my baby is able to walk without holding on to something. Cross fingers with that baby! Right now she is trying to stand alone and clapping her hands, tongue licking out and drooling. Picture out that in your mind, isn't she cute?

Anyways, that is all what she's up to for now. More update to follow in the next few days of her development.

moving pods

I have seen a number of people moving in and out of one of the houses in this neighborhood for the last 2 years I live here. And yes, there were big trucks, moving pods, busy helper to help them move their things back in the house or to a storage where stuff can be secure and could stand at any types of weather.

The Huge Crowd

See the people from where I stand to take this photo 'till to the other corner of the gym? They're mostly filipinos. This is the huge crowd attended the FIL-AM Christmas party that we went to 2 weeks ago.
Filipinos are everywhere in the United States and thinking of the fact that there are hundreds of them here in Texas, I don't feel alone anymore.

She Is Not Ready To Walk

My baby is now 11 months old and yet still not walking. I don't see any problem with it. She is healthy physically and I can see she's growing rapidly only she is kinda late when it comes to teething and walking. She only has two teeth for now but drooling a lot, probably there will be another two will come out in the long run.

I swear I practice her how to walk, hold both of her hands and let her play, chase the dog so she'll be motivated to learn how to do it herself but each time she sense that I am teaching her, she would curl up her legs, soften, hang them and or bend her knees. I caught her standing for few seconds sometimes though and that's it what she can do for now.

I guess she is not ready to walk yet and I can't force her. When the baby is ready, she will do it alone when the right time comes. Or it could be because our Deden is a smart baby and is careful not to hurt herself. She knows that it is going to hurt her bottom once she fall down that is why she is taking her time.

Gosh, I am just an excited momma here. So anxious to see my baby do her FIRST STEP. Promise I'm gonna take a video of it and post it on her blog so she can look back the different stages of her infancy.

Buying a Franchise

I am not a business-minded person. I just want to be the shopper or the buyer of the products that can be found on the internet or in the local stores but never in my wildest dreams to becoming an entrepreneur because it requires hard work, patience, capital, experienced in the field and most of all, you have to be good at running a business before you succeed. I am not optimistic I can do all that.

Somehow, I am willing to try it if being offered by chance and become a franchise owner of any establishment or business. Buying a Franchise should be thought a hundred times before you do any action or you end up losing your battle. The work of MatchPoint Franchise Consulting Network is to match individual Franchise buyers with the Franchise opportunity that is best suited for them. I might consider it someday and grab their service FREE to the Franchise buyer, helping individuals save both time and money while finding their ideal business.

If ever that is going to happen that I am going to be one of the great franchisees someday, I will be able to look back of what I was before and think that I can do anything with determination and guidance of this great company called MatchPoint Franchise Consulting Network.

The Family

The very latest snap of the family behind this blog. Taken at the party mentioned in my previous posts. My baby's face is not shown as she is obviously sleeping when a friend took this picture of us. I am thankful to have this for we don't have many family pics because we can rarely find someone to shoot us.

buy him a tv stand

I can't think of anything to give to my this holiday. But I think buying him a
tv stand will do good since we don't have it yet. Our huge tv is just sitting on a huge speaker right now and it is kinda high for me when we watch a movie. I may have to take advantage of the www.importadvantage.com/TV-Stands.htm has to offer.

Sea World Entrance

Someday when Jadyn is old enough to enjoy seeing big mammals that is found in Sea World, I would want my husband to bring us there again and enjoy the shows, feeding the dolphins and most of all enjoy the rides they have. I want my baby to explore the world while she is still young so she will get to see the different interesting amusement in Texas.

The picture above was taken right at the entrance of Sea World, San Antonio and that is me posing in front of it... I was only 4 months preggy at that time...

Friendster Virus

Since friendster have been down and couldn't be opened for couple of days last month, the virus started spreading the whole website. Staying on friendster isn't safe anymore as I am afraid that my computer could get infected with this b.s virus that they acquired.

The virus is using people in your contacts/list to spread it by putting an unknown website in your inbox or in the bulletin that says "LOL or WOW". I almost opened one of the mails yesterday and good thing I suddenly remember what Bianca told me. She was saying not to open such thing because it's a virus.

Today, I received another one from a different person which I think she isn't aware about sending it to me. So for safety, I may not hang out on that page for a while and do my thing on blogging. This is so hard to resist I think because friendster is just like my YM, it is open the whole time I am online, from early morning 'till I am done using the computer at past midnight.

best acne treatments

Not all people are gifted with naturally flawless smooth face. There are those that have sensitive skin and are prone to getting pimples or acne when they are exposed to allergens even just a little amount of it.

I am just fortunate enough for not having this kind of skin problem. I could only get one pimple once in a year maybe or not at all. However, if you are reading this and would like to find a cure to your acne, you can find the best acne treatments online at www.acnecuresrevealed.net

Busy Day

It's gonna be a busy day for me here. I have to vacuum the rugs in the bedroom because it is so gross now. Full of dog hair that you can see it even if you don't intend to look at it.

Then I also have to wash the sofa cover in the living room, same reason full of dog hair. After that, I have to prepare food for me and the baby so we can eat a decent meal atleast this afternoon. I am planning of making chicken soup for her so she will be very busog when going to bed in the evening.

english saddles

My husband's friends is in need of saddles so he can comfortably ride on his horse without worrying of falling or whatever it is that saddles bring to the person riding the horse. He needs specifically english saddles and he has been looking for a good deal of it in the local stores and hasn't found one yet.

I maybe recommend The EquestrianCorner.com is dedicated to the horse riding community offering both information as well as horse riding apparel and horse riding equipment.

She Fell Down From Her Crib

So my greatest fear is really happening and I can't believe it happened in just a snap of seconds. My baby was already in her crib tonight finishing off her milk and was about to sleep. It was her dad who put her there.

Moments later, we heard a loud BOOM!! I thought it was just a box fell down but oh no, I knew it was our baby when my husband ran hurriedly to the bedroom and help the baby. Whoaaa my baby fell from her crib it's because my husband left to put the henges up before leaving the baby alone. So careless of him if I should say.

She cried and cried but stopped for couple minutes. I brought her here in the computer room that is when I found out that nahulog siya nag-una intawn ang agtang. I hope it will not get worst tomorrow or else magpasko siya nga naay bukol.

I knew it's going to happen. I even forget to put the henges up sometimes but I make it sure to go back and check if it's up because I don't wanna cause harm to my baby... but... my husband forgot to lock it and there she was... NAHULOG INTAWN DAKU KAYO LAGOBO!!!

I feel so sorry to my baby. I am sure it hurts so much! I hope there's no sprain or injury happened to her fragile body or else.. mabuang kow!!!!!!!

I Kissed It

The purse I'm holding in the picture is the same as the purse that I'm drooling over the internet. Scroll down and you see the same picture of it only in different color.

When we went to Belk last Friday, the very first thing that surprised me upon entering the store is this medium Tiara bag from DB because it's the bag that I have been wanting to get and it got me wide-eyed. With so much amazement, my initial reaction upon seeing it is to kiss it. Yeah, I was in disbelief! How could I kiss such a thing?

Annie laughed at me. I think because I looked crazy at the store on that day. Geessssssssss very pretty ehhhhh.. but can't afford me too bad! Even if it is less 30% it is still over $200 and am not gonna waste my money over my addiction.

Too Bad I Missed Meeting Marie- Sweetlullaby

Tonight we went to attend a huge Filipino-American Christmas Party, North Texas Association located just few blocks away from our place. The people who organized the party are the same as the ones who made Pista Sa Nayon possible last 2 years that we also visited.

I felt like I was in the Philippines for a moment because most of the people attended the party were Pinoys, most I've overheard talking were speaking in Cebuano. It was a huge crowd indeed with lots of food. One of the many things that I crave so much is the "Lechon BABOY" or roasted pork. Weeewwww finally, I got to taste it for the first time in America and I was overwhelmed and almost could not believe that what I was eating is lechon.

2 Couples were there also, Madel-Kevin, Tony-Annie, Rose and of course the leading man and the leading lady (Me) and the Princess Calbonita,Deden. I thought I could finally meet Marie and Brian but hmmppp I missed them. We already left when they arrived so only the friends I left behind were able to see the couple. Maybe next time... there is still more next time to come, I know!

Shot on The Spot!

... I just finished reading Chilay's blog tag on the spot posting she had for me then I took the first snap above.

..then my husband saw me doing the photography by myself and so he help me out.. the result is the clownish smile side of me.. bleeehh

To the ones who wonder how I look like, this is now your chance to take a peek at my clowny face. It's been a decade since I posted my faces on my blogs due to the fact that hmmm you know na.. secret.. I am not telling.

Anyways, here's my "shots on the spot" tag from Mamu Darlene and Ritchella. No retouch, no rebonding(I didn't marry a rich guy, shampoo commercial in the Philippines), no make up.. just my plain boring look at home. You can leave your violent reaction in my comment box but no harsh comments ehhhhh! Thank you so much people for passing this on to me.

Here are the rules:

1) Take a picture of yourself right NOW!.

memory stick

Sometimes our camera pissed us off because when we needed to capture a nice view or a wondrous action of our baby that is the time when camera moves so slow or sometimes won't open. It could be the unit itself is defective or the memory stick needs to be replaced. I am not sure though. However, I will have my husband to buy me a new memory stick that has bigger capacity to accommodate tons of pictures while in the Philippines so I don't have to keep loading them in my computer.

I Smell Something Fishy!

Geezzzz I'm drooling to this kind of fish. I missed eating freshly caught in the ocean fish like that in the picture. It's best for "kinilaw" and "tinula" or even "inun-unan" because they're fresh and they make tasty soup or juices when cooked. How I wish I can just try to forget the days of December so when I wake up in the next day it will be January and it's time for us to fly where my family is waiting for us to arrive and eat kinilaw altogether.

HDMI switch

Buy your HDMI switch available at www.firefold.com. There is this Slim HDMI I found on that website that is designed to make our AV equipment work together conveniently that saves us our valuable time and space. I think we already have one but to make sure I would ask my husband that we have the slim one as we know we need to find space for everything in the house.

I'm Wanting This

For weeks now, I've been eyeing on this very beautiful and classy medium tiara bag by Dooney&Bourke on the internet. My palms itched each time I open the site and look at their different collection of cute purses. I do have a $50 discount coupon that they sent in the mail and I am thinking twice whether I'm gonna buy it or not. It's way too expensive for me right now. I am kinda broke because all my money are being sent to the Philippines for the renovation of our house.

Geeezzzz wished Santa will hear my little wishes this Christmas and he'll get me this magnificent bag of DB. I like this color but will prefer black because it matches any outfit I wear. Beautiful, isn't it?

I'm Getting These For Her

I saw these pink girly girl boots from Avon website and I thought they are beautiful. They are not the stylish kind but I think my baby will be comfortable wearing them this winter. It's good that Avon has sizes so my baby can get to wear one of these boots.

I bought a pair of brown boots in Walmart but I don't think she can wear them long 'coz you know babies grow fast and they outgrow their clothes and stuff real fast.

She's Part of The Family

For two days I didn't allow our dog to get in the computer room or in the living room because she's shedding too much hair right now. There's dog hair all over the floor and the baby wants to crawl whenever she's awake. I can't stop my baby from crawling because its part of her growth.

So what I did, I kept the kitchen gate locked all the time so Chichai can only stay in the kitchen and go outside. My husband told me that he's a little bit worried about her because she is part of the family, she's an inside dog and all of a sudden she's limited to only stay in one place of the house.

I felt quite haunted with what he said so I let her in and now she's happy and playing here with us.

Needs A Bail Bond

God please! People hear her pleading, she needs a bail bond for her to get out in jail. Can't you see her face? She's begging you, down on her knees to help her out. She only needs 1 penny to get out of jail. Her mom can't help her so if you are kind enough this Christmas bail her out!

P.S. This is my baby in the kitchen gate. She's off limit in the kitchen for there's a dog dish in there that she loves screwing up. Each time I go to the kitchen she'll follow me there but only just until the gate for we keep it close for her. She won't insist on going beyond that though instead patiently waiting on us... and be happy! JUST A PLAIN JOKE IS THE ENTRY ABOVE!

Welcome To USA Gen

I have a friend who arrived in Washington 5 days ago and I forgot to welcome her just because life of a mommy here has been so busy. I personally welcome you Gene to the "Land of Opportunities" and to the real world, USA. I am happy to know that you and your husband are finally being united as a married couple in your love nest after painstakingly waiting for over a year to get your visa.

Life in your new country will be hard but don't worry I am here to help you in adjusting to your new environment in my own little ways. Just give me a holler anytime you need me and I'll always be here for you're my friend, to listen to your woes and be your distant crying shoulder. GOODLUCK IN YOUR ENDEAVOR then!

small business for sale

Someday when all 3 of my friends in this area are able to save up some money we will be able to start up our own business. We would prefer to have a small cafeteria or filipino restaurant where all four of us are going to be the manager of the business. As early as now, I am looking for possible small business for sale on the internet to give me an idea of different options on small business to put up one day.

Holy Cows and Sacred Donkey

The photos below were taken at the same place where we went to 3 weeks ago. They have a vast land in the country down South but the owners just have 4 pregnant cows and a donkey. Hopefully, their animals will soon to multiply as all four cows are pregnant.

There is a story that I like so much about these animals. The donkey, looking small compare to the cows but she's the one who guard them against the enemies or from people they don't recognize at the ranch. Looking small but terrible. Dare not to mess up with the cows or else you gonna get hurt haha.

Nice Relaxing Day For Her

If other people were rushing to go home or going for dinner or do business somewhere, this little girl right on the overhead parking lot is just taking her time playing in her cellphone, relaxing, minding her own business, enjoying the beautiful sunny day of Fall.

I took these photos because I thought she looked so cute up there. What a nice life she has haha.. kidding..

Poor Kid

She's really really good! She doesn't cry easily. She would just wait until her mom come to attend to her needs. Last night, while I was busy chatting with my friends online talking about funny things and burst out to laugh, my baby in the bedroom was suffering.

Not that she suffered because she was wet but because she'd pooped and it took me several minutes before I could smell and finally notice her that she needs a clean diaper. She really is a good baby to the point of having difficulty telling her mom that she is uncomfortable or something.

Poor poor kid!

looking for watches

Secretly I am hoping to get myself a nice watch as a present this Christmas. I don't need to ask from my husband to have it. I have my own money from blogging so I can buy anytime I want. I am looking for watches online and searching for websites that I can find great deals on them so I don't have to waste my money on something so expensive while in fact I can get them for less. Good thing though that I was able to find www.thewatchery.com where they're having a last chance offer to get a Movado Watch for only $99 and many luxury watches at UP TO 90% off. I'll see then what I can buy from this store.
