He's The One Cooking For Me

Ask my husband how often I cook meals for him. He would truthfully answer you with "once in a blue moon!". I rarely cook food for him because..... I am lazy. Instead of cooking for my husband, he is the one cooking food for me.

Last night, he baked 2 pieces of chicken breasts and I asked him why two? He said, "well I have to consider you too!". I didn't eat my part for it was kinda late and I was very full from the buffet. At brunch today, he cooked eggs and bacon good for two again. Another point for my husband. And guess what the wife was doing? COMPUTER... INTERNET... CHATTING.. DROPPING EC CARDS and other ka blah blahan

Then again tonight, he was in the kitchen again... you know what's next.. nagluto napud siya.. I said to him, I'm sorry lalabs.. I must admit I don't like cooking! His reply? Ok, don't cook for me so I don't get fat! Lipaya naku oi kay buot lang dili lutoan!

Samsonite luggage, I am using one

I can only hope to have a safety and comfortable travel with my baby. It's only me and her so cross fingers for that. I don't bring much heavy stuff in my carry-on as I don't want to be heavily burden while at the security check. I am using a carry-on spinner Samsonite luggage. This way it is smooth to pull while in my other hand is pushing the baby to get to the airplane.

Hallucination

My mind keeps floating as if I'm in a faraway land. Far from my second home yet very close to my filipino family. I can't think straight knowing that my mind is floating in the air. I am starting to feel lonely because of the idea of being separated from my husband for a while gives me goose bumps. Bisan paman wala pako kalakaw, mingaw napud ko oi... I'm gonna be missing his presence, the manly sweet smell he keeps spreading and more importantly, torjack!

I need to do this for my baby. All these for the sake of our baby so be it. I planned for this for a year even before my baby was planted in my womb. Now the time is drawing near, all I can do is be prepared and ready to FLYYYYYYYYYYYY!!

So Happy

It is not new to me seeing our baby so happy because she normally is a happy baby. Tonight is a bit different. She is just extremely happy after having an hour nap. She probably got tired after going a long day and not having enough sleep today for we were at my friend's house.

Full giggling, screaming and laughing is the house right now because of our baby. She has high pitch voice but to me it sounds music to my ears. So nice to hear my baby so happy like this! Man, the price of being a mother to a good baby!

First Time Singing

I do love singing. I have a terrible voice but I love singing. It's my way of expressing myself especially if I'm homesick or being in a good mood. Depending of what kind of song I am singing, that tells clearly of my current mood.

If there is a singer in this house, that would be me. But tonight, my husband sung an alphabet song to our kid. I was ecstatic because it was my first time to hear him singing. He is not good but not terrible singer either lolz.. After he finished the song, I exclaimed! Woww that was my first time my husband was singing!!!

It has been 3 hours since we got home from Rose's place. Before I called my husband for pick up, all three girls, me, Rose, Annie and the baby went to the buffet restaurant blocks away from the house for dinner. I am still very full because their food was good.

While we were there, we were amazed at how big the diners were. I can't believe the woman who just came out from the restaurant because her belly was very big that is sagging down to her knees. If only she had known that weight loss pills do exist! Lolz!

Few More Days To Go

...and I'll be outta here. I can be as free as a dove to fly again wherever I wanna go. I have a whole month to be free not needing a husband to drive me at my friend's house or go grocery shopping. Yeeyyyy! I am super excited for the big journey waiting ahead of us.

Too many things that linger in my mind right now.. things to do, foods to eat while in my home country that I couldn't get long hours of sleep anymore. I know I'm not the only one experiencing this.... YEEEYYY Philipines here I come!!!

She Feels Like Flying

One night, I left my baby in the hands of her daddy because I was kinda tired and needed a short break of her. Good thing her dada said yes and stayed in the living room for a while but minutes passed, they came into the computer room where I was.

My husband that time kept saying "let's go!".. "let's go!" and didn't even bother to look at my mag-ama like I said, I was busy. They were closer to me and got curious as to why he can't stop saying those words then I was shocked what I saw... he's holding the baby in a strange way and the baby looked like she's lovin' the way her dad holding her.

Proof are the photos. I've never seen him handling our baby like that so I was kind of scared for my baby... she could fall off anytime you know? And baby Deden seemed to like it... hahahayyzzz they're just some kind of having a rough play!

2 Days Sweating In Wintertime

My husband always make a joke about the effect of "Global Warming" when we feel like the temperature is warming up. He is not the "global warming type of guy" you know that is why he jokes about it that makes us burst out to laugh after he says it.

For two consecutive days our temperature just so crazy. Knowing that it's Wintertime and yet we are having 79 degrees F here. While most of US States are struggling with thick snow, here in Texas are enjoying the fine weather we have. I can't believe that while I lay in bed earlier my nose was sweating. When it does, I really am hot! Geezzz..

Tomorrow though will be dropping 20 degrees so it's gonna be cooler which I love. This is all for now oi wa naku words isuwat(I'm all out of words to write so better stop here now)

My Family's Beautiful New Year Celebration

.......it's beautiful for me because we all enjoyed of what we just did 2 hours ago. We went to our favorite restaurant and had a simple dinner. I had red snapper fish with rice and my husband had 4 catfish fillets. My baby only shared my food and drink.

After the dinner, we proceeded to Hillcrest, it's a neighborhood where rich people living in mansion residing. It's pretty nice over there because they have their Christmas lights displayed in their yard. People from other places drive to their street and watch, witness the spectacular Christmas lights along the road.

So we were there and got out of the car, brought the baby outside and she was overwhelmed of what she saw! By watching the video I share in this blog, you can tell how happy and excited she was to see all the colorful and many many lights!

SO, that is all for our New Year celebration! We did have a fine nice day all three of us. How about yours? How did you spend your New Year?

I don't know after uploading this video on youtube, it became so blurry while the original footage of it is as clear as rabbit's eyes. You can also view a much clearer view of this video just go to my baby's blog at Jadyn's A Little Bit of Heaven.

Simple New Year

Well, if I was in the Philippines, it would be a big celebration for me and the family or friends. You know Filipino tradition, always there's food prepared on the table for Noche Buena, firecrackers/ fireworks and making a lot of noise when the clock hit 12 midnight.

Here in America, I feel so lonely thinking of those things that are happening back home. What did we do at midnight last night? Well, I watched the tv presentation for the New Year in FOX for a while then minutes later my husband followed me there. As soon as we hit the twelve midnight, we hugged and we kissed each other and greet HAPPY NEW YEAR.

After the short kissing, we watched "In Bruges" movie that he rented two nights ago and slept quarter to one. That is how we did it. I don't know if there's any plan of going out today since he is off work. We shall see what we can do later

LASTLY, I WANT TO GREET EVERYONE WHO PASS BY IN THIS BLOG A BLISSFUL NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU OUT THERE!
