In Two Days Time...

...the big move will take place. We are gonna leave this little place of ours to a new bigger house where we can start anew. I am excited for that yet feeling sad for I have learned to love this place since I first came to America.

Life's like that, nothing is permanent, everything changes, people come and go in our lives and most of all places to live seem to change and all I can do is go with the flow of the current.

Baby ko, have pity on me. Don't kill me yet. I still wanna see you grow and finish your college haha! This baby of mine is unaware how stinky her butt is as if it's nothing to her while I suffer of her fart yet she has the nerve to smile at me after farting. Whattah!

The Long Lost Daughter And Facebook

For the sake of those who don't know my husband's story and her daughter, well, he had last seen his daughter Paloma since the baby was only 3 years old. She was brought with her mother to live in Spain.
Since then, the daddy hadn't had any contacts nor seen any pictures of his beloved Paloma. Twelve long years is wasted and missed the opportunities to hug and see his daughter grow.

Recently, I did a search of Paloma Sanborn in Facebook and found one result for this particular person. We found out that the person who owned the profile was actually my husband's long lost daughter. Our e-mail exchanges is sole proof that she is indeed the daughter!

I know I shouldn't share our e-mails as it is private but I am hoping someone can read this that knows Paloma or her mother Carmen that a father needs to know how his daughter is doing!

My communication with Paloma was abruptly stopped as her FB profile was deleted probably because she was told by her mother to disappear from the internet so my husband cannot make any communication with her child. Paloma is now 15 years old and all those years that they've been apart, my husband never stopped loving, missing her dear Paloma.

The only recent picture we've seen of Paloma is the one that she put primarily in her FB profile and that's it. The picture attached in this post is of her and probably with a friend. She is the one who bend over carrying her friend in the back.

We are hoping that someday when Paloma is out of her mother's hands, she'll look for her father and fly to America to see him and make up all the lost years they weren't together! Cross fingers with that.

Everybody seems to be fond of playing online games nowadays especially different applications that certain websites are giving for free. I was once hooked up to one of the many popular games on the internet for three months. Wow it was addicting. I only stopped playing because I reached the last level of that game and now I am looking forward to playing a free online RPG. Our Accomplishments last Weekend

I feel relieved knowing that we finished painting in Jadyn's bedroom now. We colored her room as lavender on the wall, white ceiling and pink closet. Colors inspired from Disney color of Behr paint brand. What is lacking in that room for now is the decoration, her crib, toys and clothes then everything will be perfect.

Another big job we've done last weekend is painting the master bedroom the desired color both me and my husband agreed on, the pale or really light green. Next time we will go there, we'll apply the second coat in our room then we are going to start working in the master bath as well as our two closets, still in the same room. Weewwww still a long way to go pa but atleast we're doing big progress in our house now.

Sore

It's been 4 days since I have this sore at the tip of my tongue. It sucks each time I drink some water or eat something that could irritate my tongue some more. I do have plenty of strawberries to eat before they go rot but how can I eat them if this sore continues to bother me? The braces make it harder for me to swallow because the more I rub my sore against them the more it gets painful! Sucks!

The old big sore isn't healing yet but looks like there's another one starting to form on the opposite side of my tongue. Geeeezz what a curse of life!

Our 5th Wedding Anniversary!

Today marks our 5th blissful wedding anniversary US time(we were married in the Philippines and so yesterday was the original date of our wedding for America is 13 hours behind). Thank you Lord for another year being in healthy marriage. I can say for certain ours is healthy for we have the most number of happy days than sadness and fighting. Most of the time we compromise and understand and respect each other and most of all our love has grown stronger throughout the years we're together! Ah this is another big achievement we have.

Our celebration yesterday was just so simple. We were busy driving the whole day and so we only did go to a seafood restaurant and had a fine dinner there. In the middle of our dinner, my husband went out to the car, when he came back he brought me a box with a new phone inside.

I thought it was a sweet surprise because I only expected an ordinary cheaper phone but no, he handed me this blue 3g phone from Samsung which I so love!! He never ceased to surprise me especially during special occasions! The best talaga banana ko! hehehe sipsip!

Lord, I thank you for the very good husband I have. He is still the same person I met five years ago I should say. May You Bless us with more happy days and years in our marriage as well as shower us with more blessings and love!

Finished The Pink Closet

Two days working on the pink closet and now it's finally done. Applied two coats already and weewww nice is the feeling to be able to accomplish things bit by bit. My baby girl sure would love to see her pink closet in the long run. For now she doesn't understand the significance of coloring it pink hehehe.

Hopefully, next weekend we can start painting in her room or in the master bedroom. We really need to get it done so we can have carpets installed before moving in. Bahala nalang the rest of the house nga d mahuman basta comfy lang mis bedrooms!

safety when drinking water

We get our drinking water from a bending machine. We do have couple of gallons to be filled up with water every weekend it's because we don't drink water directly from the faucet. Although getting water from a machine isn't expensive but this still cost us a few bucks.

Thus, it would be nice for us to just look at for water filters online so we don't have to keep buying for drinking water anymore. Although our water here in Fort Worth that runs in the faucet are clean and safe to drink but we can't avoid that sometimes there's a leakage on the pipeline so we better take safety precautions.

Painting of the Ceiling and Wall Paper

I feel very tired and frustrated today just because of the idea that I didn't accomplish anything! It's our second day we're working on the ceiling and taking off the rest of the wall paper in the living and dining rooms and I feel like I am not doing enough work for it. Well, it's my husband who painted the ceiling actually. He finished the master bedroom ceiling, Jadyn's room as well as the second bathroom ceiling. While on the other hand, I was struggling with the wall paper in the dining area.

I spent so much energy taking off the damn wall paper, wasted half of my day doing the job but I did not succeed. Pisses me off! Plus the fact the baby was with me the whole time nga nakapadungag kadali sa ako trabaho! I'm gonna have to try again tomorrow though.

Posting the parts of the house that we need to work on especially putting on a new paint to make it look fresh and livable. Time is running fast and we're not even halfway of our job. Haven't started painting in any of the rooms either geeeeeez!

Didn't Do Much

Two days spent on painting the trim in the master bedroom and Jadyn's room. I felt like it wasn't enough, no big job done in the house yesterday and today. Tsk tsk tsk... too little job was done yet I felt tired. Lots of bending over to do eh! We thought that we could start painting the ceiling today but we don't have the right rollers for rough ceiling surface so we delayed it.

Hopefully tomorrow we can make it happen but before that we'll need to paint the trims in two bedrooms for the third time. Haayzzz thinking of what must have to be done makes me dizzy!

Professional Cleaner

We worked longer in the house today, longer than we usually do since baby wasn't with us. We quite accomplished a lot of things today. We even had professional cleaners came over to clean the whole house inside that cost us money. I tell you, hiring someone to do a thorough cleaning of the house isn't cheap at all. The company charged us $40/hour per person. There were three people today and they worked the entire house for over four hours that totalled $407.

While all the workers busy inside, my husband and I were also busy dragging back all the cut branches and twigs from the curb to the backyard, we did it for maybe thirty minutes, finished cutting the remaining trees, arranged the woods nicely so they dry up even when they needed, planted some roses at the back of the house and etc. Then our day ended by doing our grocery shopping so we don't have to do it for the rest of the weekend.

Shopped For Pink Stuff

I can't wait to start painting my Jadyn's room with lavender and light pink and put up all the baby stuff in there. Today, I shopped for Disney Princess bedding set, hamper, wall hanging decors and window drapes all pink in color. I had it delivered at the nearest store so we can just pick it up when it is available that saves me 11 bucks of shipping.

It is going to be the realization of my dream, to provide our baby her own baby room so we can have a privacy. She is growing fast and for that we believe she needs her own space too where she can scatter her toys and develop a habit of being independent by sleeping alone at night.

My family is known for raising ducks in the backyard back in the Philippines. We've been raising ducks for couple of years and just recently my father decided to stop raising ducks just because they are tired of spending money on duck feeds.

Raising ducks had brought advantages to us especially during occasions because we don't need to buy chicken meat in the market that saved us money. Instead cook our own raised ducks.
