Driving Once A Week

I can only do my practice driving once a week which I believe is good enough rather than not having practice to drive at all. I drove to the grocery store today of course with family in tow and it was good. Good because there was no blowing of horns again hehe. Although I rate my driving as 6 out of 10 but it's ok, my husband on the other hand keep giving me critiques on how I drive. He says I drive too slow sometimes and other times I drive too fast. Heck, I'm still practicing ya know?

I am not upset with him though. He may not know it but I appreciate his patience with me. Unlike before my first few practices when we were still living in El Campo, we were like enemies in the car, yelling and shouting everytime I make a mistake.

For now I don't feel like I can pass the road test so I am just taking it easy. I don't feel confident driving alone either so no choice but keep my practice going until the right time comes. Driver license will come probably before or mid summer. Cross fingers with that!

Mourning And Grieving

The whole Carael clan is mourning for our great loss! I just received an e-mail from my little sister from the Philippines that my Lolo Boning had passed away. As for now, I don't know any details yet as when he died, all I know is that I am grieving for his death right now.

Poor Lolo! It has been known to me that he suffered from a certain kind of illness months ago and for that it is dragging him to bed that each day of his life he became weaker and weaker...until he finally gave up and Lord has taken his life. We no longer have our lolo. Jadyn can no longer see her great grandpa for the second time hohohoho.

For you Lolo, may you rest in peace and may God open his doors above for you and accept you into his Kingdom! We all gonna miss you!

With all the damages that heavy snow we had last week, I have seen so many property damages around this area. Expecting Some Snow

Attached are more photos during the snow last week. I haven't been able to share a lot of snow pics on my blogs here so I thought of sharing them today.

According to the forecast, Texas is going to have another round of s now tomorrow but it won't be as heavy as last week's snowfall. Fine enough as long as we can see some white dusting again before the Winter ends. This is what I love about Texas, we can get some snow occasionally and it never will be a burden for Texans for it just melts in the next day. Awesome God for making all this!

In my three years in paid blogging I have made quite a fair amount of money where I am being paid to give honest reviews, opinions on products that I like. I must admit that I still have a lot of things to learn on the road while driving. I myself know that I am having hard time keeping in my lane but I can work it out if only I can drive so often. Service road lanes often too small for me (that's what I feel) but I do good in the freeway though.

It must be a thankful Sunday for me and to my family here since we came home safely and me driving going back and forth to the grocery store. I asked my husband how many miles did I drive today and he is so good for he is not keeping track of the mileage. geeeeezzz.. Another thing to be thankful for is that I did not put my family in danger today. I did good haha yabang for I did not receive blowing of horns from other drivers today. And to me... that is all that matters for now.

Orlando vacay

There are just so many things you can do in a warm sunny state like Florida. I so dream of seeing the place myself and try to at least fulfill my dream Orlando vacation, visit the Disneyland or get plenty of sun in the beach. Anything that can be done in a warm weather will be good to me. I don't care what kind of activities we are going to do as long as I can escape from our house and see nice places will be an ultimate fulfillment of my desire to at least have a quick vacation... someday..somehow.. God will hear my wishes.

Our Family

... is simple yet loving and harmonious. I can't change anything about my family because I like just the way we are. Happy, contented, secure, loving and most of all truly looking after one another. I pray that we will always be like this forever.

I'm Just Having Fun

Can't you tell just by looking at the pictures here that I was having so much fun in the snow? That happiness I felt inside was due to so much snow brought by Winter here in our place. For the first time this year, mother nature showered us with so much snow. In fact, according to the news it is the thickest snow Texas ever received since 1964. Can you believe that?

Being healthy to me is getting plenty of sleep at night. If I don't get at least 7 or 8 hours each night then it's the cause for me to get cranky all day. All the bad moods you can think of is what I can get if I don't get the sleep I deserve. There was an instance when I didn't have sleep for five days that was when I traveled across the globe and all those days without any sleep I felt like I was a zombie just floating in the air. Home Depot Friend Of Ours Passed Away

Life is precious! We will never know when our own precious life is taken away by the One who truly owns it. So while we are still alive, savor every moment of it, don't hold grudges and most of all enjoy living everyday as if it was the last day of our life.

My husband just told me sad a news when he arrived from work moments ago that he stopped by Home Depot after work for something. When entering the store the first area that we are going to see is their paint desk where paint people are working to entertain customers. Of numerous times of trips we made to Home Depot my husband made friends in the paint section , one of them was Rex (an 83 year-old man who worked there as his means to get away from the house). He was a nice guy! In fact we became friends too and he also like our Jadyn.

So anyways every time we stopped by Home Depot, Rex was always there waving/saying his friendly Hello to us or sometimes make a short friendly chitchat. He was just a plain nice guy period. My husband was gonna made a joke to the woman who is in the self check out counter telling her that Rex wasn't able to made it to work too (it's snowing heavily today that's why), man he needs to get up blah blah..things like that... then the woman replied that Rex passed away!

Upon knowing that, I felt sad! For sure I'm gonna miss seeing Rex standing by the paint section of Home Depot. When we go there next time there'll be no more friendly Rex waving at us! Hohohohoh I feel really sad right now eh...

To you Rex, may you rest in peace and God open up the doors in Heaven for you! You were such a good man!

I Got Buzzed Again

So nice of my husband for allowing me to drive in the freeway again today. It was my second time driving in a 60 mph road going to Lowe's. At first it was smooth, then from the service road joining the freeway the car in front of me was kind of slow and I was doing 60 still. I was so scared that I could hit him and so my goal was to move to the left lane... I was already panicking a little bit so all I want to do is get to the other lane and I saw the car so close to me and when I get panic, I lose my mind for a while so I steered to the left then the car buzzed me...Weeew it was scary for I almost kissed the side of the other car. This is the second time it happened to me.

Nganu man jud ko oi kakita ko naay car coming lisoon man jud naku ang manibela? Ambrot sa langaw. Then from Lowe's we went to Walmart right away which I don't know how many miles far but for me it was on the other side of the globe. I was relaxed while driving on the way there as I know I wasn't in the freeway anymore.

Generally, I did all the driving today with a baby in the backseat. I don't shiver that much anymore too and for me it's a lot of progress for myself but of course there are still so many things to learn while on the road. I am positive though that I will get better in the long run and hopefully apply for a driver's license before Summer starts.

I do have a new blog created also which will be shown to the public as soon as it is converted to subdomain of my baby's blog. After that, these two blogs should be ready for money making purposes. I don't like the idea of baby's blog being mixed with paid posts but it left me no choice.
