I am not a risk taker but when I do, I am not afraid to try it and be brave to face the consequences. One of the biggest risk I have ever done in my life is to come here in America not knowing what awaits for me ahead. Fast forward 10 years later, here I am, still alive and built a marriage/family that I dreamed when I was growing up.
Another risk I have taken is to wear a thick blue lipstick at work. I have worn this color twice, the first time when I barely started and my manager told me to wipe it off and not wear it again because it is a bit too wild and crazy.
The second time I wore it was on my last day I decided to show up at work May 17,2017. My manager approached me again telling me to wipe it off but I asked her nicely saying, ” my days are nearing, please just let me be because I want those patients to remember me as the girl who wore a blue lipstick” which she agreed on. So here, look at me and remember me with blue lipstick for the rest of your life!
